Our Week

Each Sunday Morning at 10:30 a.m. we celebrate in worship, with word and sacrament, The Holy Eucharist of Our Lord Jesus Christ — “the holy food and drink of new and unending life in Him.”

On the fourth Sunday of each month, we use delicious home-made communion bread for our Eucharist, rather than our traditional wafers. This special wheat bread, hand made by member Norma Ridenhour and others from a recipe for St. George’s Abbey Communion Bread, is then blessed and sent out with our Lay Eucharistic Ministers for home communion that afternoon, to be celebrated with our parish family members who may be ill or homebound and unable to be with us in worship.

Each Wednesday evening from 5:30 – 6:00 pm we hold a Healing Service, which is an abbreviated service of healing prayers with unction and Holy Communion. This is a lovely mid-week opportunity to bring our heartfelt thanksgivings and concerns to the holy altar of Our Lord, and to offer prayers of healing for one another and for others on whose behalf we pray.
